“Thinking Through Feed Back”

I got three other people to grade my poems the feed back was very good. I liked how they told me the things they most enjoyed, and the things I need to improve in my writing. I really feel after the feed back I’ve grown as a writer. Their suggestions really helped me when typing my final draft. I had a good chance of getting the grade I wanted by ketting various of people grade my work. When they read my work some things that came up was that I should have over read my work for minor errors. I think that feed back really helped me because I’m always rushing to do things and never reads over my work.

One of my peer responder said my writing was very creative. And she liked how I put my real life situations and created poetry. She really feel that she can relate to my poems becuase they make lots of sense. But my second responder said my writing is very opened to alot of expressions. My poems are completely exposed to having an open mind when writing poetry. She think my writing is reall different from other poems she’ve read in the past and she liked it. Finally my third and last responder said she like how things rhymed throughout my poem. And all the imagery was very good. She think everything fall right into place when reading my poems it’s something every girl have to got through or know someone who went through it.

I feel that I’ve got alot of information from my classmates on my poems. I really think peer editing is very helpful when righting it helps the writer alot. The aditing personally helped me alot I got answers to some of my own questions I had in mind.

“My Self Reflecting”

During this long period of time I’ve learned a lot in this class. Not only did I learn knowledge but I’ve also learned things about myself. I’ve learned that I’m s very good writer and should start sharing my writing. Mr. Welier’s class was a good experience for me. I think I’ve grown a lot with my writing and editing skills. For, example before I was in Mr. Welier’s class I didn’t like writing poems stories or anything. But now that the whole trimester is finally over I’ve realized that I’m a creative individual. I have lots of hidden skills that I seem to not know how to show. This class have taught me so much I know how to maintain a good paper and how to help peer edited others papers. I’ve also learned how to write for ten minutes everyday about different topics. I’ve have good growth in my essays and in my writing. Unfortunately I’ve just learned how to mail a letter the appropriate way. But fortunately I’ve had a good time experiencing this that I like doing, for example making collages, writing short stories, and working on my website. I’ve learned how to edit and make my website look good for the public. During this trimester I could say I’ve learned a lot from Mr. Welier’s Creative Writing class. Thanks Mr. Welier ♥♥

“My Final Proposal”

I chosed the assignment that i had to make a minium of ten poems. Each having to add up to two hundred words. I really think this assignment was easy for me. The other ones would of been shorter but longer work with less time. I think the poem should be done in the given time. The poems should be fun and intersting instead of making a whole nother story. I’m just goingto try something different and make me a chap book with all my creations and different writings.

My poems are going to be about different kinds of things such as: relationships, love, friends, family, life, sex, death, and etc. I’m going to try my best to make every poem have some kind of different connection to each other. My poems would also have a lesson taught to the reader from the author. The peom is not going to be made up they’re going to have a creative meaning. I want them all to have a hook meaning. Which means that if you read my poems you would know what I’m going throw and my feelings.

I’m going to also make my poems in all kinds of different styles. I want to make the indient lines have a meaning or connection to the previous and next line basicly just a pattern. I want to make such i demonsrate all my skills on paper. I want to show everyone what i can do with my writing.

Auspicious

Definition:

Auspicious- adj. indicating a good chance of success; favorable.

My power word I chose was auspicious, I chose auspicious because this word really stands out from all the other words on my list. When I finally look the word up in the dictionary I realized the word fit me the most. The words that came to mind were positive, promising, lucky, and good. I thought to my self that if anyone knows anything about me they know these things because what you see is what you get and I know I show all of these. The word Auspicious makes me think about success or just happiness and it symbolizes who I am. I really think this is a good word that explains who a good person is. Auspicious describes someone who succeeding and is really going some where, or someone who had faith in someone else. I know that Auspicious is the word for me and I like this word, because it is like something good happening and I like when good things happens. I just really think I’m an upbeat person and I have the ability to do what ever, as I said early Auspicious am the best word that symbolizes who Kierra is. Because when I look for a symptom I founded Kierra Magett in it.

“If I could write a best-seller…”

If I could write a best seller it would be a non fiction book. The non- fiction book would be about a teenage going through somthing. For example having problems with a conflict. I would make the story have a good message to life. I’m going to right a non fiction book because I personally think that makes young people really want to read more when it have to do with people their age. The story would be very mature like zane or something. I think I would make the book rated R. The book would make the students just want to learn from the authors experince.

The reason my book would be non fiction is because I think people need to know the staticics in life, They need to know what is really going on. And when I write my book it would make them not want to stop reading it. I think when books be about real life events people be wanting to be noisey and break eachother down. I think when one person read my book they would dicuss it with someone and others would want to go out in get my book. I think I would make alot of money off my book, by making it non- fiction and having to do with teenagers.

Over the two weeks in Mr Welider’s Creative Writing I can say i think my writing has really improved. I think I can now write on a steedy paste and have an interesting story. I think now that we take ten mintutes out our time ever day to write I have made a big improvement. I think I’m getting more engaged in my writing. My wirting had been outstanding in my other classes too. When I write i think about all the things we’ve covered in class in insert it into my writing to make it better.

Do I Consider Myself a Writer…

Yes, I consider myself a writer, because I have to write in my every day life weather I like it or not. I write a lot during school, but when I have time at home I write out what ever come to my mind. Some things I write is what I’m going through, some goals, and my to-do list. I dont really have writting goals but I wish to improve my errors on my writting. Some times like like to write when I get an topic or prompt.Sharon Draper really inspires me she is a good writer, I love to read her books. She makes me engaged in writting when I have read her stories. I learned that a person dont always have to be good at writing to be a writer…
